About Us

Welcome to Cloth Cuts, a family-run eCommerce business based in Australia, specialising in custom-printed fabrics. We are passionate about providing high-quality digitally printed fabrics with a wide range of fabric bases, including Cotton Lycra, PUL, Canvas, Vinyl, Muslin, Linen, and Twill.

My name is Michal, and I am the owner, manager, social media marketer, blog writer, and fabric cutter at Cloth Cuts. As a mum of two, I juggle the business with mum life, but I am committed to providing our customers with the best possible fabric experience. My husband, Andrew, manages the contact us emails and handles all the technical back-end work. And our kids, Tim and Sophie, are the models you will often see on our social media pages.

When not packing orders or working with our artists, we love exploring our local area, and visiting my parents on the Sunshine Coast. Of course, family adventures are never complete without our family dog, Penny the Beagle.

I grew up on an acreage outside of Rockhampton, Queensland, and have always had a passion for sewing and crafts. Sewing my first quilt (with my mum's help) when I was 5. As a teenager, I dove headfirst into a number of different crafts including sewing and sculpting clay figurines. Then, after having my first child in my mid-20s, I started creating my own reusable nursing pads, bibs, and other baby products and selling them through my small business "Miccy's Collection".

In early 2019 I stumbled across Cloth Cuts and began testing different fabric bases for the then-owner and designing a huge range of prints for her catalogue. 12 months later, we purchased the business and have been running it ever since.

Cloth Cuts has grown with us partnering with over 170 artists from Australia and worldwide to showcase their unique and beautiful prints on our fabric bases. We are thrilled to support independent artists and offer our customers more design options.
